This week our Commercial Director Kelly joined an incredible team of people from the wholesale and retail industry for the Bikes Against Bombs Tanzania Cycle Challenge – overall they raised an incredible £230k, with £65k of this coming from the CRG (Country Range Group) Team!
We’re thrilled to announce that Kelly and the team successfully cycled over 330km in just 5 days (sometimes up to 9 hours a day!) in an effort to raise vital funds and awareness for Mines Advisory Group, a life-changing organization dedicated to making the world safer by clearing landmines and unexploded bombs.
Every day, 13 people are killed or injured by landmines or unexploded bombs. Tragically, half of these victims are children. Families in conflict-affected regions live in constant fear, unable to farm, attend school, or play safely.
MAG works tirelessly to find, remove, and destroy these deadly items. They also provide education to help communities navigate these dangers until their land is cleared. By supporting MAG, we can save lives and give people back the freedom to live without fear.
We’re extremely proud of Kelly, and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated to her fundraiser, where she has raised an amazing £9.5k – your generosity is going to both change and save lives of those living in the aftermath of war.
If you have not yet had chance, there is still time to donate to the fundraiser by clicking here. Any donation could make a tangible difference: £60 could help clear 40 square meters of land, making it safe for children to play or families to grow crops.
Congratulations to Kelly and the team, amazing work!
